Caesarstone Asia Pacific managing director David Cullen told the Australian Financial Review (AFR – paywalled) on October 27, 2023, that:
“A full ban on the usage of engineered stone would double the price of benchtops..”
So? That appears to be sufficient of a purpose to proceed to permit the usage of a product that’s inflicting a lot of preventable deaths in Australia and elsewhere??!!
A stronger argument could also be that the occupational well being and security (OHS) administration of the reducing of engineered stone has failed.
